Was at the LGS today looking for a donor gun for a 30 GNR lever gun (no luck yet) and there were three guys touting the 6.5 Creedmore shooting flat to 1,000 yards. I suggested they look at some ballistics tables that would show them otherwise but they had it on verified authority I was wrong. I told them I would bet any amount of money they wanted with the minimum being a grand that if they put a simple duplex scope of any brand and power they wanted on the 6.5 they were buying and sighted it in at 100 yards they would not be able to hit a 10" plate at a thousand yards in 10 shots. I am waiting on them to take me up on it. A grand will cover half of my next Reeder purchase!
