i've had a 20lb lee pot for years

I've found out that if I only put clean already fluxed lead alloy in it and close the spout firmly I rarely get drips.i use a old cast iron pot and a propane cooker to melt and blend the lead alloy then I cast 2LB ingots to put in the lee pot .before I used to do everything using the lee pot I was constantly fighting drips due to junk getting caught in the spout
