He melted the lead in a deep 8" cast iron pot, added some gulf wax, skimmed it then poured it into the little cornbread molds.
I loved the way the ingots looked. I have a turkey fryer burner, so making ingots could be done as soon as tomorrow.
I have a couple of places to try for some lead and wheel weights. Pete said he would see if he can get me some lead flashing.
Lots of guys on Craigslist selling lead.
I'm also going to check with the metal recycling yards. We have bunches of them near the Port of Tampa.
