Initially read that the round (derived from a nail gun case) had much thicker rims and required special striker considerations. Not just any gun could be adapted to it. But I've never read any negative shooting reports. Sometimes good cartridges and ideas never really take hold. The .17 HMR did but the .17 MKII fell short. I thought there was room for both, I was wrong. I hear the semi-auto is quite popular.
Looking at all the new cool guns these days, very innovate designs, makes me feel old.
