Had the same issues with my 429 GNR. When the 454 brass was ran through the size die, I had a couple thousandths between the cartridge rim and the cylinder. I took a couple thousands off the top of one of my shellholders with the judicious use of my nelt sander. Works great now.
I can't say if its a starline breass metallurgy (springback) issue or perhaps just my particular set of dies. I don't have this issue with the 410 GNR using Starline brass though. Anyway, just don't mix up your shellholders.
