with Randy Fritz the owner of Lightfield Ammo that all gunpowder has graphite coating. It not only improves flow and metering but leaves a deposit in the barrel to lubricate. Randy said it can take up to 50 shots after cleaning to redeposit and settle in to its potential accuracy. Another reason to not clean guns too much as Gary tells us! Also his research showed all graphite compounds are not the same. So the redepositing can apply to switching powders too. I would guess that firing lubed lead would nullify the graphite deposit also.

I wonder about the copper eraser powders?
