Just switch powders, 4227 is a good one

that drops max power by about 100 fps at the beginning. It's also more adaptable to reduced loading than H110/296 etc. I still like magnum primers as the granules can sometimes leave residue with cooler caps. My 4227 loads in anything are always very accurate and I know neither heat nor cold will adversely affect my loads performance.

You can use .41 Magnum max loads as a god beginning, due to the larger capacity. The .41 GNR is about the same internal capacity as the .410 GNR, just in a longer format.
