just go slow and stay safe, never begin with listed max loads. Just because it's written in a manual (or heavens the internet) does not make it so. I like to shoot over a chronograph to let me know something is not right, like wild velocity variations or something way out of my expectations. Then the normal brass tells; sticky extraction, primer extrusion or cratering, the edge of the pin indentation (rolled or sharp?). Some dispute the indications as to pressure but it has worked for decades. If it sticks you are probably too hot, it's sure not gonna do, nor is right. Back off a grain. Case set-back (in revolvers) is more rare but can be caused by either too low pressure or too high, sometimes it's the pressure curve of the powder. The brass must grab the chamber wall until pressures subside, then hopefully let go for extraction. Even old worn out brass can cause issues, lost it's flex.

Some guys are shooting the .414 Supermag in revolvers and using the 4227/210 gr. JHP combination. The .414 is the same length as the .445 brass but .41 Mag. in diameter, so its smaller capacity. They are listing loads they use in the 26.5-27.5 gr. range with .4227 and a 210 jacketed bullet. You'd figure the larger capacity .41#2 (on the .445 SM case) would show less pressure given the other equal factors. That would be a worthy test to explore. I see most of Gary's H110/W296 loads for the .41#2 show the useful capacity closer to 30 gr. Use your normal loading safety procedures, do smaller batches until you find your load. That's the fun part.

Accuracy is paramount of course, you can't hit it's no good. But I have faith that the combination with 4227 can be found to produce great consistent accuracy. You are looking for reliability, the desired power level, and accuracy, all at the same time.
