I know GNR likes both .22 WMR and store brands...

I don't think I can pass this one up. My friend is offering it to me at a very good deal. It is a "Revelation" M116 in .22 WMR with a steel receiver. I think that was "Western Auto" line of sporting products. The gun was actually produced by Marlin as the M57. I once read who designed it and such but forget where I saw it. Sounds great and I think it progressed to the line that saw the .256 Winchester and .30 Carbine rounds in a larger centerfire version. Don't know why they were dropped. Maybe there is something inherently wrong with the design I don't yet know.

I have been thinking of a .22 Mag. truck gun and this might be what I have been waiting for. A strange one. The tube feed is nice, no losing a magazine. Surely it would shoot with the Marlin bolt gun as to accuracy.

The action sports a very short throw, you don't take your hand off the stock, and the trigger stays with the action. Very interesting. Any proper Hillbilly just can't resist a good .22 mag. rifle. (No I'm not a deer poacher). Sometimes you just need a bit more than a regular .22LR, but not make a big ruckus with a 5.56.

This is representative, not the actual rig he's offering.
