It is my hands down favorite handgun hunting platform. My personal preference is the 7mm GNR for either platform. I could only use the 7 GNR and be quite happy. If cast bullets are in play I might alter the choice to 30 GNR though. It is so versatile.

Although light caliber for tough game the ability to surgically place the rifle bullet really makes it a viable choice. No bullet will do if poorly placed.
