on the first day of a 10-day safari - the power ring screw. I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked down and saw a hole where the screw was supposed to be. I'm in the bush and a long way from a hardware store. I had a jewelers screwdriver in my kit that I stuck in the hole and used it to grab the gear inside to adjust the power ring for the remainder of my safari. SHIT HAPPENS IS RIGHT! BTW - when I came back to the USA I spoke with a Simmons service rep about my experience and they shipped me a brand new replacement scope; even an updated model for FREE. No hassle at all. He was apologetic to boot. Incredible service.
