Gary has several and my favorite do-it-all is the 7mm GNR. It is basically a maxed out shape sided, short necked, 7mm and can also fire factory 7X30 Waters to form. I simply neck once fired .30-30 to 7mm and shoot to form. My 120 gr. bullets run 2400+ fps from a 13" barrel. Likewise I have a .256 Falcon, same concept but in .257 cal. The 87-100 gr. bullets are in the 2600 fps range from the same platform. You cannot fire form .25-35 in it as the shoulders will split. Again, I just neck .30-30 to .25 and shoot.
These two mimic the rifle performance of factory loads in 7X57 and .257 Roberts from a handgun.
Gary has many more but the other cases are more expensive and provide close performance. The .30-30 cased versions are hard to beat. Other caliber options too, to suit anyone.
This was a cull Sika at the Y-O Ranch some time ago. I used the 7mm GNR and 120 gr. Nosler Ballistic Tips at 2400 fps. I was using H322 powder and my starting load, so good I just stopped there.
