The 336 is an arguably superior mechanical device for shooting cartridges than the rose tinted and beloved Winchester. (I SAID ARGUABLY! Sheesh) I know Gary could take any customer's old lever gun and bob it to a pleasant 16.5" and install the customer's choice of aperture sights. Suddenly a safe soldier is brought forth and given new love!
