can safely load the Gibbs to near 2600fps with a 600gr jacketed bullet and have. Not possible with the 500 Jeff. Its not a pleasant load to shoot, even in a heavy bolt rifle like mine WITH the built-in mercury recoil reducer. I prefer 525's at 2400/2500fps.
