Fall out of tree stands here in Al. 25 years ago my wife's brother-in-law fell out of one and spent three days in a coma on the ground before he was found. Never really fully recovered, was partially paralyzed and died from related complications three years later. Smarter folks have gone to enclosed, elevated shooting houses with sturdy ladders or stairs.
