I have hunted from every kind of stand you can think of,
in my youth, including perched on a limb like an owl.
The one I would like to have a video of was the time I was sitting in a very solid Tripod with a swivel seat. I was sure there was a deer in a nearby mesquite cluster, so I carefully stood on the swivel seat with my 270. Just as I got erect, 6 deer burst out of the mesquite in different directions. I'm sure it was very comical watching me trying to spin the seat, keep my balance and shoulder my rifle.
Never fired a shot.
