this was just a short list of the 3 cartridges specs. Google

didn't go into specifics on barrel length. The 300 PRC had a 210 grain bullet, the 30 Nosler a 212 grain bullet and the 300 Win Mag a 210 grain bullet. We did find a mix up of numbers in one paragraph where they mentioned the 30 Nosler was .300" longer than the 300 PRC, so we measured them and they were for all practical purposes the same. They were both about .035 longer than the 300 Win Mag. So any in depth info is totally lacking here. We did notice a definite partiality by the gun writers to whatever cartridge they were writing up. They made a very small difference into a drastic difference in power. Typical.

Now before anyone gets all hot and bothered about this we simply googled the basic specs and listed them. We did not shoot any of the 3 cartridges nor did we check downrange ballistics. It was just a little fun test to see which one had the most potential for power and again for all practical purposes they were all 3 identical, give or take 75 fps. There isn't an animal in the world that could tell the difference.
