Reeder Custom Guns - remington 550-1

I know where one is for sale in good condition for 175.00
I think it was made in 1948. Does anyone have one? and if so what is your opinion on these?
The barrel is marked 22 short long or long rifle.
Shooting shorts out of a semi auto sound interesting.
