Currently I own only one 700, Remington rifle. (Couple 1100's and some .22's) It's a Black Police special HB .308. And the 8mm is an old beater Turkish M98 Mauser. But I'm at least in the game.

I've had a bunch of each. I remember a M700 I had in .375 UM. Ouch! Doug probably still has the scar. "6 inches Doug, it comes back 6 inches, not 5". lol The last 8x57mm I had before was the gun I turned into the "Blue Gun". It was a VZ24 that someone had semi-sporterized and installed a 26" heavy 8x57 barrel on. I never figured that one out. I wanted to build a nice .257 rifle but they ran out of barrels. So I got one in 6mm. It's actually called a .244 Ackley but has the later 1:10" twist.
