My friends and I are planning a Florida hog hunt at the end of March-start of April. So being the minimalist I am thinking of using a 44 magnum revolver.

In the past I have taken a ton of them with the TC Contender and 4570 . Works great but I am thinking of using my 44 Redhawk.

For those who have taken boar with the 44 magnum, what load do you like?

I have a max load for the 44 with the Sierra 250 grain silhouette bullet that is quite accurate. I believe it would work well on boar.
