Domesticated hogs with a 22 lr. Of course they were standing still and we put the muzzle right against the skull before firing. That's a lot different than shooting a feral pig in the wild as we all know. I worked in a slaughterhouse for a short time in the 60's and they killed beef cattle the same way. There was a back up slaughterer who was about 6'6" and was 275 lbs of raw muscle and he had a 12 lb sledgehammer. If the 22 didn't kill them right out he crushed their skulls with the hammer. PETA would've loved it!
