They have also made us convert all our utility fluorescents to some type of new internal ballast types. Supposed to save money. I do not miss the tar filled ballasts that are so prone to shorting out. We spent something like $65,000 in doing so. They gave us a Govt. sponsored credit but we were still out some $30k. They had it figured that the "pay back" would only take a few years. Then we are supposed to be realizing a real savings.

Don't get me started on our solar field the utility has interest in. Acres and acres tied up in it. What a Ponzi scheme. Mostly making money for someone else.
