of them in that batch that have severe case problems. I shoot the 470 Nitro and 500 Nitro and even running cases thru high pressure problems none of them would look anything like those. I have seen some cases that have been dumped into hundreds of others and none look that bad. My 500 Nitro brass that had to be pried out of the chamber due to high pressure would never look that bad. A tiny nark on the rims that showed they had to be primed out of the chamber would never look that bad. Plus what caused all the deep lacerations and dings on all those cases?
The rims of those cases had to be beat out to show those deep gouges on the rims. My gut feeling is they were part of a bunch of brass that were factory defective( maybe test firings of extreme high pressures). and dumped into a large batch of brass that were meant to be destroyed. But even so that doesen't explain how all the damage you are seeing came about. There is no way that is normal.
I used to buy large bulk cases m 70,000 rounds or more (mostly 45 ACP) and they showed a lot of small dings ad such like those but never that bad and they had been hauled around with a front end loader and were dumped in large 12 foot square, 6 foot deep, wooden boxes, .
What this gets around to is there is more to that story than you are being told. If they were mine I would demand my money back or at best a much lower price.You say it is fun taking care of situations like that but not when there is a good chamve that brass is going to come apart on you.
