production when drawing out the brass or punching the slugs from which to draw out the brass, which then had offcenter slugs being drawn. I'd want to make sure the case webs had adequate brass in them as if slugs started out light, the brass case may be thin in spots. Inside and outside measurements in various spots to get thickness and weighing cases compared to known good cases, just for starters. Defective brass is not a favorite thing considering pressures involved.
