Slower powders like H110/296 and LilGun don't need to be less than 80% capacity under a bullet. For those specifically a "magnum" primer really helps. I have only actually had "squibs" with those nearing 100% capacity or even lightly compressed and using standard primers. I don't feel good with standard primers using those three. 4227 and 2400 are good but I always get unburned granules. No biggie.

Medium burn rate powders work very well for just under max. loads. More fun to shoot anyway. Refer to the warmer .41 Magnum data as the increased capacity will lower pressures.
