Clarify, compressed loads and cooler primers = squibs!

They seem to get buy well enough with non-compressed loads, some air space, they seem to work. Give you false confidence. Fill up that space with powder and what worked before now is a squib. It goes pift, and pushes the bullet maybe an inch. You'll find a greenish/yellow compressed singed powder biscuit at the back of the unburned power.

I've hammered out too many bullets for me. I'll not make that mistake again, on purpose.

I've had some misfires with CCI caps and my Super Redhawk, it demands pistol primers for sure. I load for Encores too that can manage rifle primers but I hate it when I get the ammo mixed, so I use only pistol caps now.
