CLP was developed for our troops in Viet Nam to keep their guns working in jungle climates. In cold weather it turns hard as a whore's heart. Stay away from thick oils. Go with a fine spray oil, as I mentioned a bit ago. Rem Oil spray or Rig 2 spray are best. They are fine and don't gum up like oil does.
