Some guns I cannot explain their popularity. They just are gobbled up by a unique sect of the gun-guy arena. Like those .45/.410 revolvers. Take them or leave them old guys love 'em. They are fun and I've shot a couple of Taurus' myself. To me the S&W looks more versatile but that's another story...

The little tiny mini-revovlers. Freedom Arms used to make one and North American Arms has made and sold a bazillion of them. I've had one each in the .22 LR. Both keyholed badly at 10 ft. and with the teeny birdshead grip were unwieldy with no sights to speak of. NOW however they have been vastly refined and modified where I think they actually work for a very specialized role. I know many COPs who keep a .22 WMR NA for a total last ditch back up. I've always wanted one of the smallest .22 Short versions for the novelty.

A friend on a motorcycle ride the other day asked what I was packing. Actually i had only a pocket knife. He showed me his "motorcycle" gun. A .22 WMR version of some sort NA. It got me to thinking about them. They are well made and I like the mechanics. I see some models with grips that you can actually hold and they have REAL sights on them. For all that trouble they must be valid.

I know you closet gun nerds have to have some stashed away for fun or total last ditch. What are the thoughts? Gary can you see good enough to scratch on those still? I seem to remember at least one you prettied up with some personalized engraving.
