and a LEE 500 gr. plain based buffalo gun slug, using a small amount of Unique powder, ran 700 fps and keyholed nicely into a 6" pattern at 30 yds. Recoil was a gentile slow prolonged push but the holes torn in the 55 gal. plastic drum full of sand were so big (1/2x1") that I was upset how much sand was leaking!
