as to an ballistics remotely close to airgun levels but I totally understand. As youngsters we shot the Colt/Astra and Beretta Minx both in .22 Short with CCI Mini-mags and had a wonderful time. No charging chipmunks ever got us.

I cannot imagine, even in rifles, a .22 Short HP ever expanding but in seat of the pants testing as youth it seemed the HP short from a rifle "hit" harder. I was fascinated to find my Remington Speedmaster 552 held (25) of the shorts!
