Bob Baker told me once they had tested the guns and cases up to 90,000 PSI. And if I remember right John taffin had done an article on the 454 and some of the ammo was hitting 70,000 PSI, and that is hot.

So my 410 GNR and 429 GNR are mild compared to those rounds. They are still too hot for a standard size 6 shot cylinder but a good well made 5 shot cylinder handles them very well. Nothing is idiot proof but using loads listed in the reloading manual your pressures are fine. Hot but OK.
