with a foot long, 2" diameter suppressor. The .45 mags I think held 25 rnds. each. Firing with the suppressor was fine and easy to keep most shots on a 5 gal. bucket at 25-30 yds. You didn't have time to flinch. (my thumbs still throb at the memory of loading those mags - we had 3 to use - they hurt for days. I couldn't even pick my nose!)

It sort of wet "clink", "clink", "clink cli-" out. The sound was mainly a handful of .45 empties all hitting the ground at once. Like you dropped a double handful. Maybe 3 handfuls and that was it, reload.

We didn't shoot it too much without the suppressor as it was too dangerous! I did one mag. Accuracy went all over, good only to spray a room. Get one tiny fingertip in front of that strap and it would have been gone. I envisioned .45 slugs about 6" apart, nose to tail, exiting that thing.

It was shocking that it weighed about 10 lbs. it was a solid brick of steel! But that's why when you had something to hold onto it would be directed pretty well. I heard the .380 version that came later by another company was a true wielding terror.

I find the old UZI one of the very best handling and satisfying SMG I have personally handled, the sample pool being very small.
