what you could call a minimalist or ultralight hunter. Just a bare bones camp. Nothing fancy and I will bet all he carried would weigh in at 25 lbs or so. I could be wrong but I am willing to bet that is a pretty accurate guess.

I would like to know more detailed information on what he carried. I know it is odd but what type of tarp? I would assume it was a waxed canvas of some type. What type of mummy bag? Personally speaking I don't like mummy bags as they are too confining for me. I know, I know. They are efficient for retaining heat but I would prefer a bit more wiggle room.

As far as food, I wonder what he took with him? I am not sure if the backpacker dehydrated foods were readily available in his time. I could be wrong.
