I have no combat experience and get distracted

and sometimes fumble under stress. It seems to me that firearms with less buttons and things to fiddle with are superior in the field. I find the revolver in both SA and DA very natural in hunting situations with handling and reloading. Even bumping my butt when I messed up a situation. Perhaps I've trained myself well over the years?

I see some of the military M4 weapons with so much stuff on them It boggles the mind. How do you even use them? Ditto for the Beretta M92 in combat. The safety, transitioning from DA to SA after the first shot. It seems daunting to me and I search for much more simple machines for my personal use. I am not limited by low bids and politics.

I know it's all about the training but isn't simple better in combat?
