Then you get out of the service and are so familiar with it that you buy one when you can. I only own two weapons now that were military issue from the U.S.. They are both AR's. But give me a M-14 any day. I can take the extra bulk. Give me a 1911 and I am confident in heaven.

Hunting is a whole different horse of another color.
Single shots and single action revolvers. Lever, single shot rifles and Bolt rifles are my flavor.
