on all of my GNR Encore barrels. I use the Burris or Leupold handgun scopes with long eye relief. If you are coming to the HHC next week I will show them to you and let you shoot a couple of them to see what you like. If not, then look real carefully at the leupold dove tail mounts. They are steel and will hold up to heavy or light recoil and maintain true on the scope body. I use the low dove tail mounts, if you have a high or medium option, then go with the one that is closest to the barrel without putting the bell of your scope on the barrel. Just my opinion but that is the way I have all of my Encores.
