don't have the right contour and they tend to wobble themselves loose. The encore base sitting on a G-2 barrel leaves a lot to be desired with a lot of space under it. The Contender base on the encore barrel also doesn't match up with the contour of the barrel at all, leaving an air space all the way end to end. This makes you have to use longer screws which tend to vibrate loose. We get TC barrels in here from time to time where they have the wrong base on the barrel and it is wobbly and ready to fall off. Neither are really a good way to go.
