to make it work on the smaller barrel diameter Contender one really needs to use epoxy to bed the mount. While easy once you see the trick it may be beyond the comfort zone of the casual Handgunner. It is completely removable if you use the 5-minute type.

I always make sure my screws are a correct fit, even hole to hole it can differ. I have the burned finger tips to prove it.

I do lots of things others might should think twice before copying.
