ramp and chamber. We get rifles in all the time with scoured chambers and gouged feed ramps from the steel cased stuff. It is cheap but you get what you pay for. Some of the steel cased stuff has a lacquer finish that gums up a chamber sorta like the old moly coated bullets used to. Other brands are just rough and will really rough up a chamber. If there is dirt or sand in the air or a bit on the cases, the steel case will embed that in your chamber whereas the brass case stuff will embed the sand grains in the brass and eject it with the fired case.
It is your gun and ammo but personally I would never ever run steel cased ammo in any of my guns.
