Couple of things I always have with me

1) A multi-tool
2) A handkerchief
3) A small squeeze tube of Vaseline...good lip balm and has other uses.
4) A lighter....I don’t smoke, but it comes in handy
5) A small notepad and pen.

My truck is always ready. A well stocked first aid kit, a months supply of my meds, a pair of tarps, ropes, straps, saw, shovel, machete, hatchet, toolbox, duct tape, wire, wire nuts, electrical tape, hand sanitizer, field towels, a few shop rags, a towel, a blanket, and a few packets of protein powder. The console has a flashlight, batteries, a few packs of hand warmers, spare pair of eye glasses, a small bag of hard candy. I keep a bunch of cash (20’s, 10’s, 5’s and some 1’s) hidden away just in case. I’m not paranoid in the slightest, but I’m prepared for things that happen when it ain’t convenient. I recently found that a grill cooking grate fits perfectly inside my cargo box and takes up very little space.
