I should say little positive experience shooting cast bullets through a Freedom Arms revolver. I am hoping the "painted" bullets behave more like jacketed and leave little fouling. In the past the very tight tolerances caused me a little trouble. I tried some .45 Colts in another M83 and the cases drug the recoil shield. I traced it to some extra thick case heads on that particular run of .45 Colt brass. Then I once had a couple proud primers (by about 0.0005") lock up a gun. Then the time I used 2400 powder and some standard primers, Elmer said you could. The "cornmeal" was a mess.

I shudder to think what a less than professional event with leading could produce. So I'm going to do it right. Clean bullets, with clean powder, and correct Remington #7-1/2 primers.
