first off Remington already has a shotgun slug round by that same name. Next there are several other cartridges out there that will beat it in a lever gun. Our 355 GNR will beat it by 300 fps and our ballistics were shot in a handgun whereas the ballistics they give us for the 360 Buckhammer were all taken in a rifle. So what do we gain?
Also at 1.8" it won't fit in a standard revolver. Our stretch frame will handle it with no problems, but who would really want a revolver in the 360 when there are a bunch of other cartridges that will also fit in that gun that are better cartridges. And bragging that it will beat the 350 Legend. That is sure not something I would brag about. The 350 Legend is existing on lots of BS the gun writers have shoved down the young inexperienced reader's throats about the 350 Legend being a long range cartridge for big game.
Just looks like Remington is working hard to get their name in the press. And as hard up the new folks that bought out the Remington name and such are, it seems silly to spend a lot of money experimenting on something the public may not give a rats ass about. Just my humble opinion.
