It knocks out some really great old cartridges like the .38-55, .375 Win., .444, .45-70. They exceed the listed OAL criteria by a couple tenths of an inch.
I'd love to get some of this new brass to see the case wall thickness at the mouth. The .30-30 cases have a very wide range that can cause wildcatters great strife. (we won't even talk about the thickness of the rims!) On occasion Starline does a special run of .38-55 Win. brass that is thinner at the neck. Some of the old guns require a .379-.380" bullet. If your case walls are too thick it can end up being too big to chamber. Inside reaming is a solution but not one many enjoy partaking.
