I didn't think about the Elliason Sights. That's the type or folks who made them. Man are they pricey today! I guess the front was just staked on? I flung a front or two off myself. I had Micro sights put on my Govt. model. Boy were they obtrusive and ugly. It's what made me later sell the gun.
