I bought this so I could have a high end, very well made, classic 1911. Bill Allard used one to end many armed robbers too. This one should also keep me from chasing even more expensive custom 1911s. I have others that are made for carrying and shooting and I enjoy all of them. I might shoot this occasionally but for now I'm content just to own it.
