of this year. I am now at 175 and my target us 170 to 165 pounds. I am 74 and the way I did it was the Wheatbelly diet. Leave off white stuff, i.e. sugar, candy, soft drinks, bread (use whole grain and only small amounts of that, POTATOES, and other items that convert to sugar in your bloodstream. Basically my doctor told me it was a diabetic's diet. I ride a stationary bicycle (Schwinn) about 2 to 3 hours a week. Thats it. The advice for someone your age to go to a gym with a trainer is golden... Exercise is good for you but it must be directed to achieve your goals. Just my take on weight and health in general. Your body, your call.
