of sorts. The nose blows up with the base being more of a solid to continue to penetrate. It adds an effect to the cast bullet that is more than punching a clean .339" hole through it. A solid, flat nose or no, will certainly do that!

The pin depth can be adjusted to control that "nose blow" and how much of the bullet is in effect a solid base. It's lots of fun tinkering. You should be able to taylor performance to anything from 1500 fps to hopefully 2500 fps.

My plan is to manufacture projectiles I can shoot basically full power using polymer jacketing (powder coating) and extremely slow .50 BMG class powders.
