Big bore cartridge recommendations

Hi all,

I’ve recently acquired an Ultimate Black Widow in 44 Mag, and I’m enamored with the pistol. I’ve since gotten the itch to go with a larger cartridge revolver. I’m thinking that I would like to go with a 50 caliber cartridge, but I’m open to suggestions and would appreciate feedback from those more experienced in big bore revolvers.

I’m not a hunter, and likely won’t ever take large game with this revolver, but I do love punching paper. I was originally thinking of 500 JRH, but that’s not a Reeder option, so I’m now thinking 475 linebaugh, 500 S&W or 500 linebaugh. I’m also open to GNR wildcats if there is a compelling argument. I’m leaning toward the 475 linebaugh or the 500 S&W, as I understand bullet selection to be a bit more prevalent. I do handload, but I am interested in finding a cost effective (relatively speaking) platform to shoot.
