Try I always levitate back to the 44 Magnum.I don't have a huge collection but out of 12 handguns 5 are 44 Magnums. Don't get me wrong, I love my 356 and 41 GNRs but I love the 44 too. I guess for many of us on this forum it was the best and easiest option in the 50', 60's and 70's. I had a 454 Casull for about a week, just too much bang and recoil for me. Just had Gary build me a 445 SM Contender carbine barrel to use on a Bison, i did it instead of another caliber because it will also shoot 44 Magnum.
